DS Game sold - buyer saying it doesn't work
I've just sold 9 ninentdo DS games, all were checked and worked perfectly before selling. Most had hardly been used. I've just had this from one of the buyers'Hi There, I received The Ben 10 and Simpsons DS Game. The ben 10 game is working fine but the simpsons game will not work? My husband says that sometimes that happens it will play on one and not the other, However Its no use to my son if he cant play it. Can I therfor send it back for a refund?'I know that the game worked fine, am I in my right to say that I don't have to give a refund? If it's their DS, surely that's not my problem. I've got nearly 500 feedback with a 100% record and do not lie or falsely sell items that aren't working.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

Vintage items and copyright
Hi, have just had a listing removed and am very confused and not at all happy about it! I had 3 Shakin Stevens badges dated from the 1980's advertised, they have been removed by Shakin Stevens HEC Ltd as they own the copyright to Shakin Stevens. As these badges are not new and are vintage surely they can't do that, am I to believe all Shakin Stevens memorabilia is therefore not re-sellable? Can I appeal against the decision with Ebay, what route do I take? Any help appreciated.

Conspiracy to stop sellers blocking non payers!
I set my buyer preferences to block non payment strikes within 12 months. I save it. When I go to list something else it goes straight back to one month. I have to change it every time and even then the screen does not stay there the first time. Does anyone else have this problem and have they solved it? Or is this Ebay trying to stop sellers from blocking the hordes of faultless buyers?

Hiya.On the 9th of august i sold a ring for 99p and have not yet recieved payment, i have sent 2 invoices and a polite email and still have not yet recieved anything, their feedback score is 1 and 100%, please can someone tell me the best way to deal with this as i have read of other sellers getting neg feedback from people who have not paid?? and i dont want to ruin my 100% fb for the sake of 99p. Am i able to cancel the transaction after a certain period of time and re-list the ring or do i have to go though the whole dispute process.Thank you!!

How to change email address on my listings - Have tried everything!! Grrrr!
Hi, I came on here a while ago to ask why ebay had used a very old email address on my listings as my payments had been going to this address, and not into my account. i did as you all said, sent new paypal invoices, and most of the buyers cancelled thier original payments and paid using these. the next time I listed something, I made sure I had the right address in the paypal section of my listing! However.... last week when i listed a few things, I forgot to check (I've never had to before, so don't hink about it now I suppose) and yet again, my items have sold and sre selling with the ancient email address, I only noticed when someone had just tried to pay me. So now I have to go through the whole ordeal of explaining it to my buyers, writing out new invoices ect....It is a pain in the butt, and I don't understand why ebay keeps doing it, I've been all through my account details, all through my paypal account details and this email address is not to be seen anywhere, how can I permanantly remove something that hasn't been used for years and I cannot find?Please help before my laptop ends up in the garden!!!! I have just sold a car and emailed the buyer to pass on contact details and arrange collection after no response I emailed again. As the buyer has no feedback I started to think I may have a problem so Tried calling the contact number given by ebay. The registered buyers name is not known on that number so looks like I have been had by a time waster.Tried to use the resolution centre but that says it has to be 7 days before I can start the process but I want to be able to give a second chance offer or get rid of the car some other way.Hos can I progress from here?

Hi - I recently listed my car for sale. A local elderly couple had been to view the car, and were leading the bids with 4 secs to go. Then completely out of the blue I find out the highest bid is a new bidder from Germany who wants to send a courier over to pick up my car and pay me by paypal in the process! I've heard about various paypal scams and I'm still not sure whether this is a scam or not. Either, I'd prefer to sell to the local, genuine elderly couple who have showed a proper interest - Question is, do I HAVE to sell to the highest bidder? How long should I give a bid winner before I re-auction an item?The winner of my most recent item sent me a message when he won asking about how to pay. Since I replied, I have not heard anything. Hi fellow ebayers,Ive been selling a few of my daughters clothes that she never wore as the wrong season when she was given them, anyway there is a buyer from poland who bid on an item without asking if Id post abroad, - which i dont.I had replied to many who had asked, including a buyer from poland (not the same one) and replied I didnt post abroad. As she won it I went onto royal mail and found the postage would be then added my packing fees etc and sent her an invoice. I stated that I dont usually post to abroad but on this instance I would.Ive heard nothing since, dispite sending a polite request.Thing is Im going on holiday tomorrow, the item was won 6 days ago so I expected to be able to post it before I went. i have listed 2 items for sale a buyer has asked me to change them to buy it now so they can buy them out right however although i don't have any bidders as yet both items still have over 5 days still to go and i have 17 watchers on one and 6 on the second and i feel that i could would be robbing people of the chance to bid on it if they wish and i may get a better price but on the other hand the item may go cheaper or not sell at all, not sure where i would stand either if i did change it? as never had anyone approach me in this way before

i have a listing which is a variation listing and i have one picture per variety (about 8 pics). i am trying to change ONE of these pictures but it is not allowing me to - basically it only lets you ADD a picture, not delete or replace.can anyone help please?

Non Payer Feedback
Recently, a bidder won 4 of my auctions in one go outbidding others. He then said he had credit card problems and went quiet. Then after another week, he said the auctions were too expensive even after I gave a discount of buy 3 get 1 free. He then stopped communicating. I had to recoup ebay charges by leaving a non-paying bidder strike on all 4 auctions to be sure I'd get the fees back. Why don't these strikes show on his feedback and why can't I add negative feedback to warn other ebay sellers?

I had a camera listed as BIN or Best offer. It was sold this morning to a user who registered literally minutes before buying it. So, they are a very new user with zero feedback buying an expensive item.According to Paypal, the camera has been paid for and the address is UK confirmed and so the item should be sent. However, I can't help feeling suspicious. I always send within 'Seller Protection' guidelines, so this person would not be able to say that the item had not been received but if I send camera

cancelling a scheduled listing

Hi guys, hope you can help me with this one.I've had endless hassle from a Polish buyer who bid on a very heavy lot of parts, the only thing I was selling which I didn't offer worldwide shipping for due to the weight.I have spent the last 10 days unpacking, repacking and rejigging these items to get them below 2kg and the right size, therefore a reasonable shipping rate for them - they bought another part listed on its own, and suggested I pack everything in two equal boxes,which I was happy to do. HiI've opened a new ebayer user specifically for selling. When i try and upload items from tl to new user it say "you need to open a sellers account by submitting a valid card to our secure form". Ive already linked my new account to my paypal account. Am i missing something?
